Worse if it's even possible. Maybe he's worse than Joe Biden? Yeah, that's it.

Is that my only two choices? Neither has won a significant thing in their careers.

At least Lincoln Riley has the balls to fire his defensive coordinator

Probably one of the dumbest questions I’ve seen on the rant.

BK usually has a decent defense. Riley has NEVER had a good defense.

All you read here is complaining about the defense. How does that change with Kid Wonder? Geez.

I’ll take a coach that has played for a national title over one who hasn’t and has proven to not believe in defense.

Lincoln Riley

Career Record: 73-16, .820 Win%, coached 3 Heisman winners.

Brian Kelly:

Career Record: 299-102, .745 Win%, coached 0 Heisman winners.

Riley has the potential to be here longer than Kelly as he is 22 years younger than Kelly.

In his short 7 year head coaching career, Riley has coached 3 Heisman winners & has 5* QB's lining up to play for him.

In his 33 years as a head coach, Kelly has 0 heisman winners.

You seriously wanna sit there and try to say that Kelly has more upside than Riley when they literally have nearly identical records at their new schools?

The problems I have with Kelley are 1) Bringing in sycophant friends to bolster his ego instead of hiring the best people . Football at LSU level is a business . 2) His ND teams typically started slow , with early losses . Can’t give away games in the SEC . 3) When he was dumb enough to make the comment that “ that is the best thing about a 10 year contract “ I was appalled AND , I blame Scott Woodward for that . I hate to say this , but , financially we would have been better off with Napier . Then we would have more money for whatever … and you would not have a tremendous buyout for a bust … which honestly is the elephant in the room .

Are there any other choices? How about Tulane's coach?

Only a fool would choose Riley.

Riley has never had a good defense. BK has had several. This year is an anomaly that will get fixed in the offseason

Kiffin with LSUs resources would have been so disgusting. What offensive player wouldn’t want to play for an LSU Kiffin offense? Minimum 3 natties

So you would probably take Jimbo Fisher because he won a national title

at this point Riley because he has enough sense to fire a failing DC and staff. LSU needs to do that the Monday following Thanksgiving....regardless of what happens the rest of the year.
