No. Not a fan of the numbers on the helmet. The tiger head and block LSU looks way better.

He’s probably saying that yes, lsu wore those helmets back in the day. But they look like Bama helmets so yeah, no thanks.

I wish we had these the Block LSU letters then the number instead of the tiger logo. It’s hard to distinguish the tiger logo from a distance

fwiw this was from 2018. the 60 year anniversary of our 1958 national championship season, which included our 1st win against Ole Miss since 1950.
It was a fitting tribute then, but not necessary for every game against Ole Miss.

I don’t care but I wish the air cut outs wouldn’t interfere with “ LSU “ logo because on TV it can look messed up ! Still I love LSU on helmets but throw backs are ok for a game

No. Wear our traditional uniforms so when recruits turn on the TV or see highlights, they know exactly who they are watching and not trying to figure what team it is
