For those of you leaning on Mile's record while at LSU. Wrap you minds around this.

This is Saban's 9th season at Bama. Only twice, his first season, and 2010, has a Saban coached Bama team lost more than 1 regular season game. In the last 5 years he hasn't lost more than 1 regular season game. Back to back natty's, and back to back sugar bowl losses.

Les Miles has lost at least 2 games or more every single year he's been at LSU. With exception of one year where he was 13-1 and 8-0 in the sec. In the last 4 seasons Les has lost 2,3,4 and now at least 2 this year working on possibly losing more.

would you fire a coach that went 15-0 for ten straight years, then went 0-12 for three years?

Of course you would, because the direction of the team is straight down.

By the way, that was an 81% overall winning percentage.

The last 4 years in November he is 7-9. Having a losing record in November doesn't win Championships. It's the unwillingness to adapt the offense to spread the ball around that has me pissed off. We don't use the TE at all. Miles can't get passed trying to impose his will on the defense instead of exploiting the weakness in the defense.

Inexcusable with the talent he has had to work with. We have a once in a blue moon RB who is slowly fading away like the records above.

Wait for it. 3.2.1.

But, but we have the longest winning streak against non conference, home game, blonde haired quayerbacked, Mac, non sec teams. ESPN says it for every game.

If those stats were frontloaded? YES!

I've supported Miles. He's been a good rep for LSU. He seems like a good man. But he has had 2 straight games in which he admitted he'd not done his job. If that stretch extends to 3 . . . or 4, it will be time for a change.

Actually they hired Kiffin and he was blowing it out of the water in regards to recruiting.

The problems at Tennessee came after he bolted.

Right....after he bolted they hired Derek Dooley....that was my point.

Why is it that the pumpers only look at the wins and never want to scrutinize the losses and the crippling effect they have on year-end rankings - and 2nd tier bowl games - that we blow most of the time?? Is LSU competing with itself or the rest of the football world?? Pick one....

Change stats to conference only stats and ask the question again. Don't let the ULL's and the McNeese of the world pad his stats. I only want to know the games that matter.

LSU fans are acting like spoiled, entitled brats. we are not entitled to win nc. we have only won 3 in forever. don't act like that is the only
yardstick to measure performance by.

has any coach ever been fired while having the no.1 recruiting class in America. why are players lining up to play for miles if he is such a terrible coach.

we risk the following;
1. miles leaves, Wilson leaves
2. Wilson leaves it knocks us out of top 10 class
3. Wilson leaves and we risk losing nola to wilxon, saban etc.
4. Raymond leaves and we lose both 5* commits

the potential to lose nola ( most nola high school coaches have no ties to LSU) is concerning. the reason LSU was not scuccessful 15-25 years ago was because we couldn't CONTROL NOLA.

I think that we need to be gearing up for a new head coach to start in 2017. Let next yr be Miles' last. That should give us time to lock up a true top flight guy.

Money talks and the real question is will LSU pay for what is necessary to consistently (every 3 yrs) get to Atlanta?

Stats are stats. I've been a "positiger" for years and have used them my self. To come out in your biggest game of the year and have three straight delay of games. Then the very next game come out and have the same problems. Try to run a hurry up offense and actual end up help run time off the clock. Shows where this program is at right now. And yes a change needs to be made. With that said I don't think it will be this year no matter what happens the last three games.

Absolutely that is like a board of directors saying I will hire a CEO to run my company that is effective 71% of the time. That is totally unacceptable.

Yes because he hadn't won crap since 2011 and even embarrasses the program in bowl games.

If I were stupid and didn't want to recruit big time players and play in big games, then yes I would fire him. Bring back the days of Curley and low expectations.

Would you for a coach at a top tier program after back to back 8 win seasons?
