I equate it to good/best.
Are you okay with just being good? Or do you have it in you to take a risk to be the best?

It only is a good idea if you have a homerun hire up your sleeve. The issue isn't a buyout. The issue is having an agreement in place with a legit first rate coach before you make your move. You can't hope. You have to know.

Band aid fix huh. what good OC will come here knowing Leslie might be unemployed after next year. Les should just name himself OC and hire QB coach but he will never do that bc there wont be a scapegoat if his shitty offense tanks.

Again...this is comparing apples to oranges. Tennessee has ZERO local recruiting base and they hired Derek Dooley. LSU's last two hires have been good....let's hope they continue that trend.

IF you work for any company that does performance reviews, but mine doesn't go back 10 years to evaluate what I did for this year.

If you work in sales, they may go back only to look at trends and patterns, but that's it.

And the trend/pattern for miles is 2-4 losses every year depending on the talent level.

Just for fun.....List the following members of the pumper party.

-Chapter president
-Secretary ( the one who takes the minutes and eliminates all negatives said)
-Sargeant at Arms. ( the one who faithfully defends all pumper threads. Hint: there's three of them)
-groupies.

The recruiting classes are inflated with skill players all playing the same positions with the very high ratings (DB's, WR's, RB's). Recruiting on both the offensive line and defensive front 7 have been severely lacking and flawed(Bust like Clifton Garrett and Travonte Valentine, no LB's in 2012). The scheme at which he recruits has been terrible leaving a severe lack of depth in areas of need. Sometimes the ratings are deceiving and anyone who looked deeply into it would know that.

Yes if the change of circumstances dictated so.

Actually they hired Kiffin and he was blowing it out of the water in regards to recruiting.

The problems at Tennessee came after he bolted.

In the big picture, I wouldn't really care. It'd be tough to watch, but if it meant Miles would be gone, yes. Last year was about as frustrating as it gets in my eyes, and we are heading in the same direction this year.

By who? Les is hard headed, and absurdly loyal to a fault, and by that I mean he tries to will it to happen in spite of that which stares him in the face, and refuses to make changes when there are relationships that are bigger than what's best for LSU. It's why everyone in the stadium knows he's going to line them up in the I and run up the middle and the opposition stacks the line, and it works when you're playing lesser talent but you can't continue to pull that shite against good teams and will out victories. You have to play with what they are giving you.

Les gets stuck on 1st and schembechler, and simply cannot do anything otherwise.

Stooooopiiiiiiid.

Sec record
8-0
6-2
5-3
4-4

If you work for any sales company, the president is able to see a trend in the last 5 years. get it?

If we lose our last two games this season (not an unreasonable assumption at this point), LSU will be 13-11 in SEC games over the past 3 seasons.

If we go 1-1 in these last two games, we will be 14-10 over the last two seasons in the SEC.

Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side.

Look at the turnaround Florida had with their new coach. It will be interesting to see how this plays out but if he does in fact get fired it's not like it would be a huge shocker. A large number of people have wanted him gone for years now. I like Les as a person but I think the light at the end of the tunnel isn't to far away.

Inexcusable with the talent he has had to work with. We have a once in a blue moon RB who is slowly fading away like the records above.

I don't think Miles needs to go. But Peveto definitely needs to go or be put in an administrative role.

Steele might be better off being demoted to LB coach and finding an upgrade at DC.

Those 2 changes could make a huge difference. I really think the offense will be fine next year.
