I actually like the idea of gold purple gold early season, gold white gold late season and playoffs if they get there. And not just gold purple gold for east upper Wyoming state games…actual games that matter too.

This combo deserves better than what its gotten. It got relegated to non-opener OOC home games. Well our OOC home slate is largely cupcakes so this uni combo makes you think Southeastern, Eastern Michigan, La Tech, Sam Houston State etc. Garbage games.

Well we wore them against UCLA a couple years ago. I don't think they were considered a cupcake at the time

... superstitions in Louisiana die hard. We went through six straight years of miserable football leading up to Curley's firing in 1994, and that uniform (which many still decry as "ugly") received as much scorn as the coaching staffs in that skein of failure and frustration.
Even though we haven't lost even one game in that uniform in 26 years (!), I guarantee the next time we lose a game in them, they'll be permanently retired.

Well, last I checked they do wear different color jerseys generally dependent upon the location of the game. That's what this thread is about. Would fans be mad if LSU wore their purple jerseys, which are a part of the "normal" uniform, for a few SEC home games.
