Doug Planchard deserves a statue before Saban.

I think it’d be a great idea a few years after he hangs em up. Maybe in 2033 for the 30 year reunion.

I don't get the hate for a Saban statue.

If it was life-size, nobody would even notice it.

Every coach who has brought a national championship to LSU deserves a statue IMO

It could read “LSU-Where it all began!”

GTFO...

That sentence would be more disrespectful to the history of the program than the actual statue of Saban could ever be.

It could be said that Saban has actually done more harm to LSU from his Alabama coaching position than whatever good he did as an LSU coach. His legacy is in Alabama, not Baton Rouge.

Miles rode Saban's coat tail the first three seasons, and still almost fricked it up. I'm not saying Saban deserves a statue, but if it wasn't for him, there's no telling where LSU would be right now. LSU was a dumpster fire before he got to BR.

Not minimizing what he did here at all but if he gets one then Miles and Dietzel get one too. And if they get one McLendon should probably also. It’s too much. Let’s cool it with the fricking statues.
