We would get destroyed lol. We prolly couldn’t even beat Single A teams. The jump in talent is insane from college to MiLB/MLB.

Cmon. We get the UGA/Bama vs ___ every year. Skenes would be Oakland's ace right now and Crews would start. My thinking here is Skenes would have to hose them down completely, but that doesn't seem impossible?

In one game? definitely.

College teams beat MLB teams in spring training all the time. It really all comes down to the starting pitching.

Skenes would have to go at least 8 innings though.

Only hope would be Skenes mowing them down. You dont think Skenes could dominate a single A team?

We would get beat down by every team in the big leagues. With Skenes on the mound, we could hold our own against AA and below I would think. Those are grown men who have been professionally trained in the big leagues.

Are they using wood bats or metal bats?

If wood bats…then no.

If metal bats…then no.

If Skenes held them to 2 or less, do we have a shot? I think that is possible.

Oakland has won 4 games in a row against actual MLB teams.

One of the reasons I like college sports is that anything can happen. They aren't pros. There are missed catches, over throws, wild pitches. I like the unpredictability.

The difference in skill level between a college team and a pro team is absurd.

I’m sure he’d strike some guys out, but outside of Skenes and Crews, everyone else would be lost in my opinion.

I’ve just always heard from guys who played Single A, that you wouldn’t believe how much better they are at that level than they are in college. We prolly don’t think there’s that much of a difference from the outside looking in, but apparently it’s insane, and a lot of really good college players can never make it past single A, and just end up quitting. Those guys are more physically and mentally prepared than college kids are.
