Well to be fair we played much better defenses in 2011 and the SEC was better....

Are these two things connected in any way that you can see?

Absolutely. But, I mentioned it before in relation to this season. We had 39 turnovers in 2011. We are at 16 right now. That is the only weakness I see in Aranda's D. It was the same in 2016 as well.

That short field would have helped our O significantly this year. I also remember how many 3 and outs that 2011 team forced.

I ask because I’m worried about recruiting...

Quite panicking. Do you like this years freshman class that was recruited and signed by Coach O. If so, then you are going to like this years class that is going to finish strong. We will sign about 8 more 4/5 star players and finish in the top 5-10 nationally.

While I don't think Miles would build another 2011 roster, O has a possibility of having a class ranked out the top 10 for the first time in a long time at LSU

Wrong!!!!! We will have a Top 10 class this year, just like O's first class last year which has turned out to be about our best freshman class ever.

Not panicking...Just hoping that LSU actually upgraded at the head coach position...

And also lamenting that LSU does not have an AD that can lead effectively. I still haven't gotten over how foolish LSU looked in dealing with Miles and it's coaching "search".

If Quinn Sharp's kick against Iowa State in 2011 is correctly called good, 2011 goes down as the GOAT CFB team and we're spitting out 1-loss seasons to this day.
