Obligatory MM seems like a very nice guy and has a lovely family etc etc…but could he at least jump someone’s arse for giving piss poor effort or making awful decisions with the ball? I’d appreciate some passion from the head coach if he can’t serve up wins.

this is one of my big problems with CMM. I don't want him to be a raging maniac on the sidelines but man, show SOME emotion.

When a player gives poor effort, chew him out!!! It will show the rest of the team that they better give max effort, or they'll get publicly embarrassed too.

But CMM just stands there, doing nothing. I think his players have completely tuned him out.

McLoser got a big contract and buyout so he doesn’t care. Where can I get one of those jobs?

I’ll coach LSU for 1 million a year with a 1 mil buyout and suck at my job for a lot less than he does

People have different personalities. It's true in all walks of life for managers, team leads, etc. Can't ask him to be something he isn't.

But it would be easier to take if he were winning, wouldn't it?

He doesn't have the horses to compete, bro. That's on him, I get it. But how can he act like an arse on the sidelines when he knows what his players are given is all the got? LSU is not a place for elite men's MBB players. Deal with it. It sucks

They aren’t “giving it all they got”. We just just blasted at home by 30+ to a mediocre team. That was the excuse in year 1.

Why is it on him? You can’t force good players to come play for you. Nil is a joke and is ruining college athletics. I’m not taking up for MM, I think he may be in over his head here, but, there’s too many variables to place blame on one particular thing. And of course it’s going to be put on the coach but I don’t see any blame put on players for their lack of effort.

He has decent players. Not top of the SEC, but guys that can be more competitive than this. It’s his coaching. And it’s fricking awful. The offensive approach is the worst I’ve ever seen at LSU and his in-game personnel decisions are even worse.

Literally every other HC in the SEC would perform better with this roster. Every one!

There are those who realize he is the worst coach in LSU history and those who 2-3 years from now once he’s gone will pretend they realized that 2-3 years prior

He’s going to need 3-5 years to get his guys in place. Our patience will pay off. We got us a diamond in the rough.

Poor coaching causing turnovers? That’s not poor coaching, that’s on the players. I’m not defending MM, and I agree that there needs to be a change in coaching as well. I really wanted him to succeed here, but it looks like it’s just not going to happen.

Then why do we have AT WORST the third best "all-time college team" Shaq, Petit, CJ, Pistol, John Williams (only UNC and UCLA could possibly claim better?)

Also we're top 10 -15 all-time in Parade and McDonald's AAs. We can't get the players at LSU??? bullshite!!!!

He’s a dead man walking and knows it. He should negotiate his buyout and not be a total prick when he fleeces us on the way out.

Coaches today have zero integrity. Always playing victim because you sucked at your job

I agree with this. The guy is going to get generational wealth for being shitty at his job. Have some integrity, negotiate down the buyout to something reasonable and let everyone move on.

I wish we had a few Hall of Fame players. Maybe we could hang a few jerseys in the PMAC, Maybe even a statue or two. Be nice to have a few national and conference players of the year, maybe an occasional All American. They might even have more SEC titles than anyone not named Kentucky if that occurred. But, I guess you are right, LSU is not a place for elite men's MBB players.

There is too much "rough" for me to wait until the diamond starts shining, if it ever will.

Poor coaching causing turnovers?

I’m many cases it is. Some of it is player carelessness, but you can’t just run such nonchalant off ball motion in a physical athletic conference. We have a programmed in 10 turnovers. And we just aren’t skilled enough to overcome that.
