JJ likely would have been a decent quarterback in a more modern offense.

JJ would be starting in the NFL if he had focused on being a tight end.

To show how bad it is last year's starting center (DJ) can't hit the field unless there's an injury!

That’s an argument for it being good.

Nothing worse than a dominant defense and an offense can’t score for shite

People really have forgotten the Anthony Jennings era huh? I don’t blame you, if I could forget I would too.

Eh, two years ago was pretty bad. We had a championship-caliber offense with a defense that couldn’t stop a high school JV team.

How about a Heisman QB and a defense that can't stop anyone?

Too young to have watched Bob McConnell in 1999?

You forgot Jesse Daigle, he demands a little love in this discussion.

Chad is a really great orthopedist though.

From Heisman talk to NFL free agency level …

Look the signs have been there for 2 years. Nuss just is what he is and Sloan has to manage what they think he can do without turning the ball over.

All those shortcomings gets magnified when you cant run the ball.

Nuss isn't the problem.

For all my complaining about the offense, I've never put it on any of the players. I'm not opposed to doing that, especially since they're getting very well paid to play the game; however, in this instance, it's the coaches fault.

I'd rather watch Brandon Harris right now

Then go back and watch the Wisconsin game at Lambeau, you’ll be back with new appreciation for Nuss.

There is a serious fundamental problem with this team since Brian Kelly became coach.

We can’t run the football.

Take out JD’s Superman qualities out of the equation, and this is 4 years running with no ability to run the football.

We had several 3rd and 1’s last night, our RB’s were tackled deep in the backfield. They had no chance. Our O-line simply cannot run block under Brian Kelly.

Everyone wants to blame Sloan. Our running game was poor under Denbrock too.

If you can’t run the football effectively, you can’t have an efficient offense.

There were games during the Miles era where I was legitimately more excited when our defense took the field
