I've told y'all once I'll fricking say it again. LSU baseball is the most overrated sports program in the country. Easily. Just can't get good players, and Mainieri is finished. Can't wait til that ninny retires. LSU baseball is completely finished with being relevant. At least we got good memories.

It's baseball!
It's still early!
It's a young team!
Does that about cover it?

We have entirely too many alters on this site. Literally everybody I talk to in real life feels the way you do. No way our fans are stupid enough not to question CPM

2017 national runner up team first three weekends in SEC play:

Swept Georgia
Lost 2 of 3 to Florida
Lost to Tulane
Lost 2 of 3 to A&M

It’s still early and they can turn things around. They are playing bad baseball right now no doubt. Beloso and DiGiacomo were facing high school pitcher this time last year. They will continue to improve as they get at bats. It’s already showing for DiGiacomo. Garza has to take over the catcher spot and Duplantis needs to get out of his head. He looks passive at the plate right now. Maybe a change in the batting order for him would help.

Yes, I was concerned last night could be worse than it was.

This team is underachieving.

I don’t know about worse team. But this team has tremendous front end talent and terrible back end talent.

More like it's just a down year for LSU baseball. It's frustrating watching these guys not even swing the bat just to go down looking time and time again. Like just swing the damn bat!

What I look at is what is our record against teams that are on equal ground as LSU. Not the armed forces or swac schools. 6-7 is what I came up with. Thank god for a down Kentucky team

That’s already happening. The whole team feels like it’s in a collective slump

I don't know that they are bad. This teams has talent everywhere and enough to win a national championship. It just appears to me that this team doesn't have any leadership. You can have the most powerful ship on the water but if you don't have a rudder you ain't hitting on shite.

Is this correct ? Last year LSU lost 27 games ? The team was 39-27. So far this season LSU is 17-9.

Last season, LSU was 15-15 in the SEC. this season, LSU is 4-3.

Traditionally, LSU teams rebound after a previous dismal season. We will see if this year’s team rebounds.

Lsu’s Last 92 games (56-36) .609
