And everyone on here biotches about every other team hating us, well last night is why. We're getting hammered by a pathetically sucky team and everyone bails long before the game is even over. Our team might be just as bad as our fans. Unreal!!

Agreed. This season has shown that. The SAME thing happened in 2004. I expect things to be back to somewhat normal by 2010 after we've had a couple of seasons of not winning a title.

Our fanbase gets spoiled with success more than any other, plain and simple.

LSU has had the most fairweather fan base for many years. Last night was nothing new.

I hate to agree with that statement, but the truth hurts.

Probably looked terrible to recruits last night.

Let's face it, this program is not as football crazy as other schools such as Bama.

Bama will pack a spring practice, while we are at half capacity.

Do you settle for mediocrity in all facets of your life? I don't. Had I been in tiger stadium last night, I would have led the boos. With the talent that our team has, there is no excuse for this season.

It is not LSU it is every sporting teams fan base. USC used to have 40-50000 fans a game about 5 years ago, now they have sellouts. Washington used to have sellouts now they struggle to pack the stadium. It happens everywhere but people on here should not bitch about the recruits we lose when our fans are showing them how quickly they will lose support. I can understand fans leaving at the start of the fourth being down by 21 more than how many fans left at halftime. As if there was something better to do? Come on Baton Rouge has one big attraction every year, LSU football.

"LSUSaintsTigersfanforlife"

You should change your screen name.

"LSUSaintsTigersfanwhentheyaregood" would be more appropriate.

maybe all the fans leaving is what the players needed.

they aren't babies anymore, you can't sugarcoat everything.

that was the first time i have ever left and LSU football game before it ended. EVER.

they deserved to play in an empty stadium the way they came out.

you overprotective mothers out there should be happy more people didn't stay to boo.

i didn't give up on them by leaving, i am not surprised we came back and won, the way they played didn't warrant my support, and i blame the coaches mostly for their play in the first half.

i've been to many dissappointing LSU games and not left, ever, but i couldnt' take it last night when the pick 6 happen. it was the last straw after a shitty quarter of football.

Most LSU fans at the games are drunk Cajuns - what do you expect?

I left right after the next LSU 3 and out series after the pick 6. Most players were not showing any effort out there at that time and I wasn't about to continue freezing my butt watching that crap.

Only thing worse than people who leave the game early - the self righteous fans who question their loyalty for it.

They got what they deserved - they missed a historic event. So that's it - drop this BS.

I was there and stayed through the whole game but completely appreciate why people left early. It was cold as f*ck - and our team apparently hadn't shown up to the game.
