But I thought we wanted our sports personalities to stay out of politics? Isn't that why we banned ESPN?

I have no problem asking coaches to be quiet on politics because for every LSU coach supporting Trump there's another pushing for the other side. I'd rather not hear it

So the coaches should not support Black Lives Matter either then? I’ll take that deal.

The leadership at LSU over the last 10-12 years is truly troubling.

Between F King and Alleva and now Woodward, then mixing in JBE and Jindal and whatever clowns they appoint to the Board of Supervisors.

LSU is a cesspool and has been for a while.

So it's ok for O to out Gilbert, but it's not ok for Woodward to out O. Hypocrites... Gilbert has issues and to most of your surprise, so does O. Let's start with his divorce and his photo op. You guys are probably the same people who overlook the Les Miles foolishness or believe this QAnon crap. Wake-up, the earth is not flat and O was wrong.

Woodward has not done anything to make him a better choice than Alleva thus far.

Up until now he had generally avoided the ridiculous public gaffs that Alleva routinely made.

But that was already an extremely low bar. And apparently isn’t true anymore.

And that's a PR fail by Scotty. The correct response was "O was expressing his appreciation that the POTUS was trying to get football back on the field during the pandemic. Coach O wants what's in the best interest for the university, the program and the people of LA. That's why he has also been on the forefront of health initiatives with JBE as well."

Diplomacy 101 Scotty.

Why do we have Nikki and women's basketball sporting BLM t-shirts every game??? Support for a Marxist organization is allowed and okay??? Pathetic! Maybe the coach and team should focus on basketball and not promoting things like this! Our colors are purple/gold not black! goes for volleyball, too!

I lost all respect for Woodward when he spoke to the Baton Rouge Rotary club shortly after his hiring. I asked him point blank if he was going to do anything about the compliance department and restructure it.

His comment "I think the compliance department is doing a great job" in specifically complimented Bahnsen and Segar. Frick that guy

The players didn't want to play football last season? Orgeron was on Fox News to discuss the efforts to have a college football season. Orgeron commended the job the Trump administration was doing to get football going.

What could the players possibly have against that?

What political views does O have though? It's much more likely that he votes the same way the players do based on his relationship with JBE. But the soft arse left cannot handle anything other than OMB when it comes to Trump. It's insanity

This is what Trump said..

"I Love President Trump. He treated us very well when went to the White House. I think he is doing a fantastic job."

Where in this statement did he discuss politics?

He complimented Trump on how he hosted the Tigers. If we don't challenge our young adults to use reasoning skills in these situations, we are going to continue to have blows up over stupid things like this.

Woodward is such a hypocrite.

Trying to talk myself into renewing my season tickets. SJW Scotty is solidifying my decision to just walk away from LSU athletics.
