he team is very senior heavy and I don’t expect all of the underclassmen Nikki recruited to be back (heard some things).

Heard what things?? ?? Curious minds want to know.

Kim is trying to build up this program quickly so she has made moves to better the roster. She cut Nikki’s incoming freshmen class in half and helped a couple of kids from last years team find another program to open up some roster spots. She’s honest with kids, if she doesn’t see a future where you could be a contributor down the line, usually she lets them know that so they can find a place to accomplish what they want basketball wise. It sounds mean but kids typically appreciate when a coach is straight forward.

We all panicked a little when Ursin left for Tulane, but I'm not sure she would have made much difference. Pointer/Morris/Payne/Cherry are a pretty legit guard rotation.

Morris showing up made Ursin expendable, I think.

Yeah, I’m not prepared to say the present rotation makes us “forget” Moon Ursin—it’s still frustrating that she came here first then left for Tulane.

But the trio of Cherry-Morris-Payne has proven extremely effective in her stead.

I can certainly see that. I think Ware is the only player from Fargas’s final recruiting class that has a fairly secure spot in Kim’s long term plans. Maybe Hall. The rest of the roster holdovers, I could see Kim finding a spot for them at a place like Southern Miss a la Domonique Davis.

Next season will be the real start of the rebuild. So many senior and Covid-senior-Grad student losses; Pointer, Cherry, Morris, Aifuwa, Newby, Shematsi, Trasi, etc.

Kim will have her first class in here and yes, I think the program’s aura will be such that she’ll get some impact transfers in here. She’ll need them to have a Sweet Sixteen level team.

And boy, long-term, Mikaylah Williams is a must-get. Gino and Dawn Staley are putting on the full-court press, but I’m confident that Kim keeps her home.

I RA these shitheads every time. It’s just a pathetic bit of attention seeking from no-life losers.

And still…after those 3 or 4 years, nobody will care about women’s bouncey ball.

Well, clearly you'll be one of those who care since you take the time to comment on the sport. LOL!

Maybe Mikaylah Williams can become Kim's "Seimone" get.

It isn't mean, it is business. Some of them are happy about sooner and for some it takes a while. Great practice for the real workforce.
