I get really frustrated with the women's game sometimes
The girls kind of just run into each other and the ref decides who they want to call a foul on

Fans don't hate Women's Sports.
Most fans don't find it as entertaining.
However, more LSU fans watch the present women's team than the men's team.
I watched the first half of the game last night. Bed time for an "Old Fart" in East Tennessee.
I doubt I have watched a full quarter of a game. of the Men's team all season.

Just like with baseball I watch and pull passionately for my team - LSU - and am happy and excited when we win, and not so happy when we lose.
Also, just like baseball I don't really watch much if any of any other team or game - not interested if it's not LSU playing.

I don't think anybody hates it. Women's sports just aren't as entertaining to watch. They're slow and sloppy compared to their male counterparts. Just biology, no hate

The only women’s sport I can stand is softball.
But if I were to rank women’s sports, basketball would be the worst, behind badminton and every women’s sports I’ve never heard of. ESPN can propagandize anything into relevance, but women’s basketball is torturous.

Agreed, pick from among the best high school teams in Louisiana that just won state titles, most of them would beat the best collegiate woman's team and it would not be close.
But just like I like to watch my nephew play middle school ball even though I know the skill level is not great - I like watching the Lady Tigers because I have an unconditional love the same as with watching my nephew.

This is such a false narrative. There are no better athletes on the LSU campus than Chio, Bryant, Finnegan, Drayton, Johnson, on and on and on. Any man on campus want to think they can compete with a gymnast, I would bet the house on the gymnast on the beam against them. Their skill to balance and do what they do, is incredible. Then there is women’s track and field and tennis, golf, on and on. No “high school” team is beating most of those sports - even all stars when you compete in all events. There are other examples. The issue is people like you don’t watch other sports. Ignorance of something is not an excuse to be a complete jackass.

Women's baseball has lost one game...drop the sport & give the field to the vet school.
Gym wins SEC...who cares.
Don't even mention football & basketball where most of the posters can do better than Woody, Kelly or MM.
Sometimes I think the only reason this site is free is because it is sponsored by the Louisiana Alcohol Board!

Are you challenged? Did you even read what the other dumbass wrote about women’s sports? His misogynistic comment on beating high level female athletes with high school boys.
My rebuttal wasn’t about the beam but that was an example of how incredible athletes these women are. How about watching a sport that doesn’t involve a ball? Better yet go try to do 1 event in gymnastics or out run any of the women sprinters on the LSU T&F team.

It’s because people watch women’s basketball thinking they are watching the same sport as men’s basketball. It’s not the same sport. It may look the same at first glance, but if you pay attention it’s a different game. And it’s a different game because men and women have different physical characteristics and abilities. Men are (at the level of top athletic performance, especially) taller, faster, stronger, and can jump higher. This changes the nature of the game. Yes- at the basic level it’s just put ball through hoop. But how you do that and what happens if the shot misses is where the differences are magnified.
I believe if people would go into watching women’s basketball with a totally different mindset that many would actually enjoy watching the games. Some still wouldn’t. For example- those who think every player should play perfectly every play and every team should win every game with no errors to correct. But that’s not real life. In real life sports flawed players on flawed teams play each other to see who is better. If you can’t find something enjoyable about that then I don’t know what to say.

That's what you are used to seeing. On the other hand, most who love the women's game are bored with hot-shots and constant running. No plan. Men who like the womens game say they play it as the game was intended.

I went from complete indifference to a fan of Kim Mulkey and watching a few games. Kim Mulkey is a the real deal.
