Note: Probably not the best game day post.

It is highly likely that the defending national champion and a Top 5 recruiter for the last 10 years will finish last or next to last in the SECw this year.

It is pretty apparent through the years that the LSU program has coddled and protected thugs that were committing felonies.

When you take a step back and look at the totality of circumstances, if you have any intelligence, you should be both astounded at the ineptitude of the product on the field (literally no excuse to be this bad) and the lack of character of the leadership - including Orgeron.

I’m not sure where this currently places me as a fan of LSU for over 40 years.

This is the lowest, all factors considered, my personal opinion has ever been of things at LSU.

Lol, were there a few idiots over the years, yes.
But that’s with every program.

This a very dramatic post full of ridiculous hyperbole. Lighten up Francis, this is a tough year, things will get better.

Pick another team anytime you want Doc. No one is begging you to stay.

I am an old Korean Vet. & I have been watching LSU since i was 12 years old. In all that time LSU has the worst defense I have ever seen!!! Offense is not good but better than the defense !

The extremely unfortunate and tragic truth is for every legit rape accusation there’s a completely false accusation coming behind it. It’s similar to the people who scream racism then when the truth comes out it turns out to be an unnecessary mess/cry for attention. I know for a fact Jacob Phillips was 100% exonerated but there was no mention of that in any of the articles. I think Davis and Guice are guilty as the day is long but the other 6-7 cases I’m going to be patient and wait for due process. This isn’t an LSU problem, it’s a collegiate youth problem that’s been happening all across the country for years.

Are you actually familiar with the Duke Lacrosse story? I’m assuming not based on that idiotic post.

Good post.
Actually the coach and Athletic Dept. should have no say so in the matter. The university and the legal authorities should handle the matter. The coach nor the AD are there to investigate whether or not crimes have been committed.
The university does have people there to handle accusations, and of course so do the authorities. If the university feels an athlete should be held out, suspended, tossed out of school, etc. they can do it. The coach would naturally follow their lead.
Each complaint should be taken seriously. Each complaint should go to the university and the authorities and dealt accordingly.
Coaches can not effectively determine what happened. It’s not their job.

Please enlighten us on how the strippers in the Duke case weren’t complete liars. You seem like you are an activist so far.

I agree this is a tough year, but the product on the field should never be this bad. I was at LSU during the Curley years. This is a Curley type team. There’s no excuse for how bad this team is.

That’s my point. The duke players were not bad actors. Davis and Guice obviously were.

Yep, it’s a bad year for everyone...every team. Mizzou had two scholarship WRs against us due to COVID and beat us. Mississippi State has their worst team since Croom and beat us at home. We beat an unbelievably bad Vandy team and an SC team that has since fired their coach.

There is no realistic excuse for this to any rational person.

That’s not apparently

Most were either cleared of wrong doing or kicked off/left the team.

Even Davis was eventually kicked off the team.

There is a serious question in the Davis and Guice accusation of when/what the football team knew.

We were not top 5 in 2018 and much of that class is gone already. That class should be your junior leaders right now. It’s not hard to understand why we struggle and it ain’t wokeness, thuggery, or Orgeron’s girlfriend.
