Thank God you posted this. I thought it was ghosts.

Really? Never? So it would be impossible for someone defending themselves to say....punch someone, and cause them to fall on say......concrete?

not when the aggressors are 3 150lb guys and the innocents are 5 to 15 6'5 football players.
Is any of this a fact, or you just making shite up?

Ironic. I was actually questioning the sincerity of the anonymous PSU caller.
Yeah. Because the anonymous posters on Tiger Rant like you should be considered sincere.

Good for you if you'd rather buy this half-assed version of events when it never addressed the fractures and contusions that the BRPD spoke about yesterday.
Oh, so you know facts about the incident. Please, Shaka, address the fractures and contusions. Who caused them?

BTW, "broke his face" is a pretty common term for someone who looked like the hospital pics of the guy.
For guys like you and Mike "The Situation".

You have yet to cite an example of how a back would actually break itself.

I asked this earlier with no answer - did he give his name on the radio?

Huh? Who stated anything like that? Why would I cite something when I don't think it's possible?
Did you mean to reply to someone else?

Yes, he gave his first name and gave his initial statement. Before he went any further, the host asked him if he had spoken with police. He said that he had not given his version to them yet, but had contacted them and was going to be interviewed by BRPD within the next 72 hours. At that point, the host told him not to say anything further on the radio until he had given his statement to the BRPD, and cut him off.

What active duty unit? There is a reserve unit at the Airport.
The Marine Corps Reserve unit in Baton Rouge is no longer at the airport. Weapons Company 3/23 relocated to a new facility on GSRI Road, adjacent to the LSU Dental School Annex. It's a big, modern facility shared with the Louisiana Army National Guard.
Weapons Company 3/23 focuses on Combined Anti-Armor Team (CAAT) operations. Their core competency is chasing enemy tanks in thin skinned HMMWVs and engaging with TOW missles and Javelins. This is high risk work, even for reservists.
They activated, deployed and performed this mission in Desert Storm and the 2003 invasion of Iraq. In the following decade, they deployed twice more to Iraq during two, year-long activations, and operated as light infantry in a counter-insurgency role.
I doubt many Baton Rouge residents know any of this. Certainly, no one on the Rant has demonstrated any specific knowledge of the Marines in their midst.
Now... ask yourself this: If Marines are, as a group, loudmouthed, bar-fighting, arrogant high school drop-outs who want everyone to know who they are... Why isn't this common knowledge?
If a young reservist fresh from training wants to make an arse of himself in a barfight, he will not be welcomed by this unit.
(And no, I'm not assigned to Wpns 3/23, but I know something about it.)

His statements already dont jive with police facts.
Since the cops were already sitting around in the parking lot why didn't they stop the fight before it got out of hand.

The only thing this would change is JJ was not involved. It does not clear any other player. There was a fight whether he was involved or not. The only material thing this Penn St guy added was that Jefferson was a bystander.

I'm sure this has been posted before but I heard the driver dropped an N bomb and that was the real catalyst for all of this mess. Damn JJ, why couldn't you just walk away...
