LSU bars seem to be the winners in all this.

FWIW he said the driver of the vehicle was more the instigator trying to get his vehicle out of a bad situation. Said JJ was a bystander and peacemaker more than anything.

OK, so who broke the guy's face? Who was doing all of this (alledged) kicking? There was obviously some altercation, so his story needs more color to be credible.

I am rendered speechless by the number of people who build conclusions atop assumptions and expect others to come along with them.

Seems like most are picking an outcome and reverse engineering their premise based on so-called "facts" to the extent they support that outcome.

I realize this is fairly common for the Rant, but thought it was worth saying again.

One things for certain...

There are very few people on the Rant I'd want investigating anything that had any implications at all for me and my family.

That's a fact, brah.

Comments to the effect of, "Marines are always fighting in bars," "Marines are racist high school drop-outs," and, "The individuals claiming to be Marines posting on Jordan Jefferson's Facebook page represent the he average Marine," are juvenile and misinformed.

I agree with this as well. People will be people and always think they have to make things up to fit in or have to flex their "e-muscles" as a fellow ranter called it earlier. I guess they think they really intimidate people by doing things like this! Kinda like playing HALO back in the day and everyone you met was the baddest MF on the planet! Thanks for the clarification about the Marine Corps Reserve unit in Baton Rouge and how the Reserve Units are managed full time. I didnt know how the Marines staffed the reserve sites when they were not conducting their duty weekend. I just knew the unit was there. Good insight though. I only know how the Army Reserves and National Guard staff their sites when not in a drill status.

Link to a medical report indicating a "broken face"?

Well, if it turns out to be only alleged kicking, it would be no one, right?

Wait, did you even read this thread? He wasn't allowed to give his entire story. He was cut off by the host when it was found out he was going to be meeting with the police.

Are you just pulling my leg or were you serious with this post?

ETA: allegedly

Go back and read what I wrote. I didn't say he did it, I didn't say he didn't do it. I said we can infer he is still "on the hook" based on how the investigation is progressing.

I have witnessed many a bar fight and when the cops come I leave. For you to say this statement is borderline retarded

change those we's to I's and its not quite as close to what you are accusing others of doing. my educated inference is that he is just as likely to be off the hook as he is on the hook, don't try and carry me along with your crappy inference with all this "we" bullshite

SOMEBODY was involved. backs aren't broken from self defense. not when the aggressors are 3 150lb guys and the innocents are 5 to 15 6'5 football players.

Ironic. I was actually questioning the sincerity of the anonymous PSU caller. Good for you if you'd rather buy this half-assed version of events when it never addressed the fractures and contusions that the BRPD spoke about yesterday. BTW, "broke his face" is a pretty common term for someone who looked like the hospital pics of the guy.

So a radio caller is more reliable than an internet witness?

I have doubts that he know shite. But maybe he's for real. Sounding like it doesn't match what the players account is. If I can filter through so many stories.
