re: Met Armand Williams today

At last year's Taste of Tiger Tailgating event, Armand and Josh Downs came and visited our Army Recruiting Booth for about 15 minutes. While they were having small talk with the recruiters, I became impressed with how well mannered, articulate, and respectful these young men were.
Just before they left, a younger white girl walks up with a much older white lady. The younger goes up to Downs and the older lady to Williams. Once they all left, I recall us all thinking it was an odd grouping. After reading article posted in the link, I recognize the older white lady in that photo as the lady who walked up to Armand. Great story and I wish him success both on and off the field.

Official 2011 US Army RedStick Bowl Info

2011 Redstick Bowl Website

See the website for the most up to date information. Quick nuggets: Venue is Zachary High School Football Complex on Dec 17th; Kickoff 2:30 PM; Head Coaches are Coach Held from St Michaels and Coach Weiner from Zachary. Admission is $10.
Only if you include the cheerleading coach in your calculations. Oregon's cheer coach is good for morale.
Desmond Howard seems to think we are in trouble because we are without RS. I believe RS has yet to live up to the potential, similarities of Reggie Bush. Im excited about the new crop of WRs getting a chance...ODB, Landry, Williams...

I counted more news cameras than people unfortunately.
Its a good excuse for us to eat good, check out the babes, and clean all the marketing gear out of the supply room. Ill have a bunch of the camo "cinch sacks" to give out for sure.
I have a booth, so by default I am attending. Come by and ill give you some Army gear.
The only thing that seems certain about this case is all of the questionable evidence. Witnesses, video, media leaks, BRPD leaks. I'd forego the high-priced lawyer and feel confident with an overweight public defender with a drinking problem.
Regardless of the witness connection to Lowery, what would be her motive to implicate Jefferson as the kicker, versus any other person there.
Interestingly enough, this girl was my waitress a few times at Walkon's. My recruiters and I go in there for lunch fairly often in uniform. Sweet girl...looks like she got mixed up in a bad situation.
Team, I'm no legal expert but I can definitely tell you this much from experience as an Army Recruiter. When we go to BRPD and get police reports they are chock full of inconsistencies and sometimes erroneous info that never make it to the actual document that matters, which is the DA's Bill of Information, and even further...actual court minutes. Of course, this would only exist if the DA feels there is evidence to pursue charges. I wouldn't fit anyone for prison attire just yet.

She may have learned who he was once fight was over and the lingering crowd was recapping. You know how it goes...everyone of course was trying to determinie who said what and who hit who...someone asked who the white dude was with JJ, and someone said...oh thats Josh Johns, my cousin knew him from high school.

there goes that blonde in the video. the witness is described as 5ft7in 123lbs 19y.o. blonde hair from Denham. Maybeeeee since she was 19 and came forward as a witness, she was not intoxicated. I stress the maybe.

This may not help the FBI but may help some of you with a frame of reference for the kicker. He is the "taller" guy in the back left of the pic.
Try listening to this on a smartphone. I let my wife (does not follow this story) listen to it a couple times and gave her a multiple choice exam with option of 1) 5-0 2)Jarvo or 3)Jeff. She said the only thing she could make out for certain was "jarvo".

She actually had me change my mind from thinking 5-0 to Jarvo. The resolution on phone is a tad better but you still cant clearly identify much.
LSU bars seem to be the winners in all this.

The Marine in question is quite possibly in the Marine Forces Reserve. That would be my best guess because there are no FULL TIME - Marine Corp Duty Stations anywhere close to Baton Rouge. The DET HQSVC CO 3RD BN 23RD MAR REGT, 4TH MARINE DIVISION is located in Baton Rouge. One the largest Marine Forces Reserve units’ in the USA (if I am not mistaken) is located in the New Orleans area (They have full time reservists there). The Reservists can definitely hold a job at a bar as a bouncer or whatever else they want to do.

or, like he said.

Is this marine on active duty? I don't understand how he can be working as a bouncer and be on active duty.

Its easy, like having a part time job. The military has units all over the country, there is a unit in Baton Rouge with active duty.

Most likely Marine Corps Reserves drilling on GSRI or Airport, given his age and the fact that there aren't any active duty Marine Corps bases in BR. Generally, the only active duty military you will see in the area are recruiters, ROTC instructors, and the AGR folks (active duty personnel who run the reserve units outside of drill weekends.

Ill have one of my recruiters find out what made him decide on P.A. this week. I know he is a volunteer unpaid coach though. I will get more details and post.
