It never occurred to me that anyone would take my comments as racist. I simply mean, that after the Iowa game, and based on what I have read from camp, scrimmage and the spring game, he is a great athlete who can' t complete a forward pass. I hope he proves me wrong.

I'm really not sure how people come to the conclusion this game will be a blowout. I mean, just look at the last game this team played. We struggled on offense. Big time. Plus we have to replace Hill, Beckham, and Landry - the three guys who accounted for nearly 2/3 of our total offensive production.

Wisconsin has a monstrous O-Line. And great RB's. If Wisconsin is ahead in 3rd, LSU is in trouble. Wisconsin will grind it out on the ground and wear down the defense, and simply keep the ball away from LSU offense. Just remember what happened to LSU during the JJ yrs when we had no offense and a great defense. Teams played a 7 man front against LSU when on offense, LSU went 3 and out and the D stayed on the field the whole time. By the second half LSU's defense struggled.

In 2009-2010, Jefferson's two full seasons as starter, the offenses were among the worst in LSU history. The team also went 20-6 in those two seasons.

I have not read much if anything that most LSU fans think this is a walk in the park. It's a false narrative. LSU is looking at this game just like it did Oregon and TCU. Nothing less. And when we start the season off playing a rent a win team we don't start preparing two weeks in advance for that specific game.

Wisconsin is better than TCU, maybe a lot better according to the SN article, their Oline certainly is.

OK. They lost their entire fricking starting front seven on defense. Let's say that again. They lost their entire fricking starting front seven on defense.

Miles doesn't think this will be a walk in the park, so glad its he and not the fans that our players lean on for knowledge of the opponent.

Just know this - Wisconsin's normals standards are to always have great Olineman and running-backs. And LSU's Dline last year wasn't nearly up to LSU's normal standards. That's why Wisconsin could be a very tough outing for LSU, those nagging questions of the Dline remain, until this game has been played.

A walk in the park? No. But it's Wisconsin. It's expected to be a tough game. They are a major program. At the same time, the talent discrepancy between us and them is pretty drastic.

Ok, that's great. Now answer this...how will Wisconsin stop LSU from running the ball, given that they will be starting SEVEN new players in the box this year. LSU's O-line and backs are elite and on a different level than anything Wisonsin will see this year and have seen in previous years or in practice against their own team. Please, explain to me how they will stop LSU from running the ball down their throat and up and down the field. I'll wait...

Will this always be rehashed EVERY time LSU has a black quarterback?

spike, you are missing what might be the best part of this LSU program......Coach Cam. Think.

I have repeatedly said that people need to forget everything they have experienced as fans of LSU. Cam is head and shoulders above any qb coach / off coord LSU has ever had.

Not to say the newbies won't make mistakes this year, but LSU is in a much better place offensively than ever before.

This will be a tough fought game, for about 3 quarters. I expect LSU to wear them out by the 4th quarter, and we will put in fresh legs to run all over them. And of course, what a lot of you are forgetting, we now have a true offensive coordinator. He will know how to keep the offense on the field.

This will be an epic blowout. Wisconsin lacks talent at the skill positions and they have no speed on defense.

LSU 52 Wisconsin 8
