Wilson’s hits are never called targeting. See A&M game where he launched and lead with crown right to the head of the A&M returner. “Birmingham, aka, Tuscaloosa East, made up a similar excuse.

Yes it could have been called. Both could have been called and at worst should have been a 15 yard penalty or not called at all. They either need to do away with this ejection shite or only enforce it on serious, malicious cases. It's complete bull shite.

Wilson hit him in the chest not the neck or head area

Moment of impact of both. Wilson leads with crown of helmet straight to neck area. White leads with hands to chest.

Let's also make it clear that any contact to the head and neck is targeting.

Got it?

No, got damn it, it is not!

Read the rule!

First, it requires "forcible contact."

Second, it has to have one of the indicators of targeting! They are:

Note 1: "Targeting" means that a player takes aim at an opponent for purposes of attacking with forcible contact that goes beyond making a legal tackle or a legal block or playing the ball. Some indicators of targeting include but are not limited to:

Launch—a player leaving his feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area

A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground

Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area

Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet

The rule allows for the booth ref to review all hits for targeting.

The Miami player thrown out in the first game and Battle being thrown out in the Auburn game came on plays not flagged by the on-field ref.

That A&M play should be put side by side with white’s hit and the Tennessee hit with the caption: “Only one of these received a flag. Can you guess which one?”

Right. Wilson targeted without question. If the targeting rule is designed to protect players it is not working because the UT QB was injured, but the MSU QB was NOT. So there's that for the officious pedants on the rant. If Wilson was not targeting and White was under the current rule then the rule is nonsense and more than likely designed to allow games to be manipulated.

Everybody debating this, to determine if the SEC is biased, and dirty. Should have figured this out after the bridge schedule, fiasco. They will do anything to assist Alabama, as if they really need any help.

We should collect all of the best images and videos that prove the cause... I sense the momentum is building and the more examples we have the stronger the case...if we can buy billboards , we can buy ad spots on local media with these images as the proof. We comin’
