re: Go listen to Kirby talk about Jayden.

They can’t because these opinions are formulated by 10 year olds that have the football IQ of a raisin
Looking forward…

we can and should beat arky and a&m - clearly one play/ one game at a time
If we do, what’s the rant think about how we stack up vs Georgia? Is it about our “fight” or are there legit weaknesses we can exploit. They look so friggin dominant yesterday . I’ll hang up and listen
Ps - question has nothing to do with not enjoying Last nights - so redeeming after last two years and the start of the season—-so fun to watch and improving every minute. No ceiling with this team.

Love it.. but isn’t Shaq affecting the play from out of bounds? The refs clearly missed the opportunity to take away that touchdown !! ??

A rant poster making a comment dismissing the use of data and analytics in decision making —- priceless irony
re: Kelly throws entire team except Daniels under the bus
Posted by Lsuchampnj on 10/8/22 at 4:41 pm to Geauxgurt
He made a sarcastic comment and walked it back . His comment was code for “if you think Daniels was the reason we lost, yall are retarted” which is pretty accurate . He put it squarely on coaching decisions . If you think he is going to throw players and coaches under the bus by name, y’all have probably never lead any group of people to turn anything around in your life .

What does that mean?
. I’ve been watching LSU football since the 70’s and I’ve never heard the saying. Apparently , selecting the 7th through 10th characters of their state’s name is viewed as a more “hip” or endearing way of welcoming someone ??? Understanding the rationale of anything they say or do at ole piss is a challenge . Hotty toddy :)

More yards than Mahomes had passing -lol

Guess wearing that white and pink #cometothesip billboard didn’t sound that good by halftime. Came back out in standard ole miss powder blue.
re: Anyone really think NIL $$ are good for college football in the long run?
Posted by Lsuchampnj on 12/18/21 at 5:40 pm to Geaux Guy
There are thousands of ways NCAA could have approached the problem in a way that protected the values of the sport- sportsmanship, teamwork , education / development, etc. Instead we through the gates open and add the no penalty transfer portal lunacy on top of it. They will try and put the genie back in the bottle and it will fail. We are watching the end of college athletics and the beginning of the minor leagues .
Anyone really think NIL $$ are good for college football in the long run?
Posted by Lsuchampnj on 12/18/21 at 5:29 pm
For over 50 years , I’ve always preferred college sports over the NFL. Most of what shaped that perspective is being removed from the sport one block at a time.
Sure I’ll keep watching and rooting for the tigers, but I expect the experience will feel more like sundays than saturdays going forward.

What is value of signing day in light of one time transfer exception?

Honest question- what’s the risk of claiming your scholarship and changing your mind in the spring after coaching moves play out?
re: The coaching narrative has gone from…
Posted by Lsuchampnj on 11/29/21 at 5:50 pm to stho381
Entirely possible that we are waiting for championship games to play out. Not saying the conversations didn’t happen with Lincoln , but a strategy could be to have more than one “big whale” . Lincoln was not the only whale and we did not fail (yet)
The coaching narrative has gone from…
Posted by Lsuchampnj on 11/29/21 at 5:24 pm
“There’s no proof that Lincoln was ever contacted- no confirmed sources, etc…”—-an offer was never officially made and Scott has his answer and we should trust him. This is all smoke-
To “we f’d up the whole search” - put all our eggs on Lincoln , missed at Napier, and now we’re scrambling

Disagree. We can’t wait this long.
On a separate note, I’m guessing all the downvotes are because the thread cast a mere shred of doubt on Riley being a lock- lol

So OU to CFP has no impact on Riley…really?

Puts OU in a better situation for CFP with an OU win… Riley out? The Saban dream?
Who’s pulling for the Cowboys next week?
Posted by Lsuchampnj on 11/21/21 at 2:53 pm
Cowboys win , Riley gets the call … Riley declines - it’s Nappier or Aranda—- is that the thinking on here?
Guessing we’ll know next week
