He destroyed LSU.

The makeup of the student body is very different from 10-15 years ago

I visited the union 2 weeks ago and a majority of the people I saw were trashy or ghetto.

Not some, a majority. It was crazy.

They dropped the admission standards during tate’s tenure.

Tate tried to reel back what F. King started with the holistic admissions. He saw that for what it was. There’s a reason Oregon State fired F. King because Les Miles and Tate is running Rutgers.

He's making a very negative comment about LSU and Louisiana.
And this is the biggest problem. The program is going to be viewed as a shite clown circus. And despite what anyone says, that’s not good. Maybe it will get better. I’m sure it will, because it can’t get worse.

It was not Tate.
It was F. King Alexander that lowered standards and did away with Test Scores.

Unfortunately thats not true

He also said in an interview Sunday prior to a celebratory dinner that he has no plans of changing the controversial “holistic admissions” standards that Alexander was widely criticized for implementing – despite regulations that required a minimum score on college board tests. Adopted by many elite universities around the country, the holistic approach downplays test scores and puts more emphasis on grade point averages, essay writing and the applicant’s personal history. Alexander argued that changing the admission standards allowed a lot more minority and low-income students to study at LSU. “I have no plans to change it,” Tate said. “Nobody has suggested it’s not working.”

And doubled down on it

“What I’m really most excited about is I met students here who really are amazing, and for me, this position is all about what we can do to help students and give people access and opportunity in higher education,” Tate said. “That’s really in my DNA, how do we help people regardless of their background – we find the money, get you here and give you the opportunity to live your dream. I think there is no better place in the United States to come find your dream and to make it happen than right here at LSU.”
