A loss to a good team early is only dropping teams a few spots. See Ohio state

LSU will get screwed because they'll lose 2+ games.

Handle our business and we will be fine.
A close hard fought loss to Bama won't drop us very far.
Lose two or three games and we have no room to bitch.

How have we gotten screwed? Just handle your business and win and it all works out.

Bad calls happen. It's part of the game and will always be part of the game. That was a bad call and it was unfortunate. Now the rematch was no excuse for Les Miles to come out with the same exact game plan against one of the best defensive minds in college football. That loss was on Miles inability to be creative. We had the talent to win two times in a row.

That makes no sense. Bama lost a game at the end of the year and got to play us again. The opposite of what the OP is referring to.

If LSU loses 1 game to a very good team and its close and Ohio State gets in over us with 1 loss then we can talk.

Hell, OU lost their Conference Championship game and made it to the BCS Championship - and got Blow Out 35-7 in losing that game.

Dropped from #1 to #2 but still played for the 'ship.... and lost to LSU

Nah, like everyone has said win and it doesnt matter. But if anything it should help our case of getting in if we're beating top teams late in the season. Teams like Louisville kinda get screwed with a front heavy schedule and nothing to show for later in the season.

worst part about our schedule is the injuries will really hurt towards the end. If we can make it through relatively unscathed we should do very well.

When your goal is to make the playoffs, who cares where we are in the silly polls.

Focus on winning the West, then win the SEC. That's all that should really matter.

Any loss other than to Bama will screw the Tigers, and deservedly so.

The PP7 interception

Probably the worst call ever, but it's not like LSU was winning. Jarrett Lee would have still had to drive for a TD.

You do realize that the better we are, the less "tough" our games are, right?
And if we aren't very good, the more likely it is we get "screwed"?

2003 we leap frogged USC to play for the title.

2007 we became the first 2 loss national champion.

there is no such thing as "getting screwed"...if you want to be respected, you have to win your damn games. lose to anyone except bama and we deserve to fall.
