misses last season. i'm worried about him playing this season and now he's suspended for the first game. this is his 3rd year, right?

There’s no indication he’ll miss any more than game 1. Yeah it frickin sucks because it’s a big game, but I think you should maybe take a deep breath.

Yeah, starts out as one game and then, all of a sudden, one game becomes two, and so on... Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

NCAA did this to us since they ruled against one of their transfer d-lineman right? Right? Trying to make it even. NCAA is a joke.

I made two posts... both deleted. So let me drop it here....
At this point Mason Smith is our modern Travonte Valentine. Not to mention, Kardell Thomas has had more of an LSU career that Smith has.
I expect a significant amount of downvotes.... but oh well.

These two statements are why your post was silly. At this point, Smith has three full seasons of eligibility remaining (minus 1 game for suspension) in his LSU career. Or one less game than Harold Perkins. Is Perkins a modern day Valentine as well?

hopefully the other guys play good enough for him to have to earn playing time. He needs some on field tape for nfl scouts. he knows he has to show up to grade out high
