While I think it helps us (FSU), I don’t think one DT should impact the outcome of the game or who should be considered the favorite in this game. If your starting QB goes down (on any team pretty much) that is different.
The main way this could hurt LSU, in my humble opinion, is if it hurts the team morale. By the same token it could also improve team morale (ie “US AGAINST THE WORLD” mentality). The impact is unpredictable ultimately.

The NCAA hates us as well. They are preventing our DT from playing the whole year currently. At least your conference doesn’t hate you as well. The ACC has done everything in its power to make us lose (not hard from 2017 to 2021 since we were complete garbage lol).
