You know damn well if LSU had imposed all of that on him this place would have been up in arms. And this is coming from someone that thinks we should have kept him.

The amount of hate for Woodward among this fanbase is laughable. Idiotic really
He royally fricked up the handling of the WW situation and choosing of MM.
He should also get credit for the other good hires.
Its possible to do both.

LMAO Again, there is a reason this dude was hired at McNeese and not OM, Georgetown, Texas or St. John's.
I don't think you have stumbled upon some novel conclusion Columbo. It's clear he's going to McNeese because of the uncertainty with his pending case before the IARP. Good for McNeese to seize an opportunity to hire a coach they never would have been able to hire under normal circumstances.

tRantifa will lead you to believe this guy is the next Dean Smith or "Nick Saban" and he wouldn't be a top 10 coach in the SEC rn.
To be fair, he was already a top 10 coach in the SEC before he was fired by LSU last season. Will he ever become an all time great? Who knows? The odds say no. But I sure as hell would have liked to find out the answer to that question while he was still at LSU as opposed to watching the last 5 years of program success be completely washed away in ONE season. LSU is almost literally in the same position they were in March of 2017...only worse, because a coaching change is not imminent.

So much ignorance packed into one post.

Guy acting like 2-16 McLoser is better than wade. McLoser is sitting as the 13th at best more like 14th ranked coach in the league while Will Wade won the sec and never dreamed of being 2-16 even in year 1

He could have had that here, dang…

Just FYI, this suspension and restrictions are coming from McNeese, not the NCAA.

fricking $2.9 million a year, 7 year contract, and a 70% buyout for McMahon is an all time bad contract at LSU.
After 1 year?
Johnny Jones won at least 19 games his first 4 seasons at LSU and hes been to the NCAA Tournament 6 times..I'm not sure 1 person would say he was a great coach...but Wade is? and McMahon isn't after 1 season here? Explain.

Plenty of melting indicates that most don't understand this or the reason he is no longer employed at LSU. My investigation says that nobody wanted him except McNeese.

Seriously though, where does tRantifa have tPear ranked in the current list of coaches (not in any particular order):
Nat Oats
Eric Musselman
Bruce Pearl
Buzz Williams
John Calipari
Dennis Gates
Chris Beard (newly hired)
Rick Barnes
Todd Golden
Chris Jans
Lamont Paris
Mike White

McLoser managed to have one of the worst season in history without any real injury issues. His recruiting is Trent johnson bad. The dude isn’t cut out for the sec unless he does a 180.

Football brings more money than basketball, so Woodward is doing great.

It took Jones how many seasons to make 6 tournament appearances? 21 seasons, and all of those appearances, except one, were as automatic qualifier from a mid to low major conference.
Will Wade has 5 tournament appearances (excluding the 2020 season in which LSU was going to be in). None of those came as the auto qualifier from a low major league.
Also, Wade only had one season with less than 19 wins and that was his first season at 18 wins.
Most importantly, Wade never finished dead last in the SEC.

How's he doing on that front?

our recruiting wouldn’t be this bad even with restrictions
Wouldn't need much effort in recruiting with the veteran players and recruits we had signed last season.
This awful season would have been avoided.

Considering he beat most of those coaches, won the SEC, and had the highest winning % in conference while he was here...I would say pretty fricking high.

In other words, shite that Woodward should have done
