Ok there, Dick Vitale. There’s no investigation into Will Wade by the NCAA, FBI, or otherwise, so why would Wade get fired, other than your assumption based on zero evidence whatsoever?

I don’t know what will happen with Wade and think that story is still playing out real time, but what I do know is that for the first time in a long time, I feel confident that if we are in the market for a coach we’ve finally got an AD that will go find the best coach available and make it happen.
LSU fans should never have to legitimately “worry” about a possibility of LSU’s athletic director naming Tony Benford - or any coach in any sport with an equal resume and experience - to lead a team at LSU. No offense to Benford, but you guys know what I’m saying here. There was precedent Alleva set with Orgeron that had everyone a tad curious if history was repeating itself with Benford.

Who knows, not a single person here knows what may or may not be on any of the other 3000 of Dawkin's phone calls the FBI recorded, or what may be revealed in the upcoming trial, or the trial after that. Seems like I remember the board thinking the Wade Saga was over last January, then again in October, and then with the wiretaps, its not over.
