I met Armstrong after McNeese's conf championship game last season, and he was introduced (in a joking manner) as McNeese's next head coach. He said he'd love that, so I can see where this portion is accurate. Would be a great hire for McNeese.
I can't imagine Will Wade's best option this offseason would be Ole Miss though. I think he'd rather stay for another season if that was his best option.

There are other opportunities on a list for Wade to explore before Ole Miss. Once the dominoes fall and chess pieces move, you could have Indiana, UNC, Kansas, Texas and Bama (If Oates takes a blue blood job) open and those are more intriguing than Ole Miss. Heck FSU and Miami are more more intriguing than Ole Miss. A Lock.......not so sure about that.

I dont see all of those happening but Ole Miss is his to turn down, if Texas comes open. Miami has a coach already but thats NOT a bad job bc they are willing to spend money
