The top coaches were paying players, but weren't stupid enough to use personal bank accounts. Wade then. lied to his bosses. He signed a new contract stating he could be terminsted for cause if he was found being untruthful to LSU. Wade knew what was coming, he jyst chose to delay his firing as long as he could.

LSU might have stood by him if not for the past violations in football. LSU couldn' t take the chance on being charged with failure to maintain institutional control and have the NCAA give them SMU like punishment both football and mbb.

YEAH! Good advice. I've bought my Wolfpack flag and signed up for the ACC Network.
Now instead of crying through LSU Basketball, I can enjoy. Happy Days are here again.

Meanwhile we’re still waiting for McMahon to coach LSU in an NCAA tournament game.

Instead he keeps cranking out 2-18 conference records. It’s beyond tiresome.

Don’t worry, that amazing portal class he had while the rest of the country played in the NCAA Tournament are going to help this team win 3-4 more SEC games

We should make it clear my LSU MBB friends --- this is another alter.

Not once have I seen this poster when CJJ was coach.

Some of us have been here and will continue,

Please list the teams that Wade lost to at LSU in the NCAA tournament that we had a talent advantage over.

You won't be able to respond logically to the above question, but I dare you to try.

Two things can be true at once. Basketball and Will Wade became the institutional control sacrificial lamb. We’ve won 2 baseball titles since. I promise the decision makers are content with their decision.

This is when a good idea meets a person than doesn't understand.

What is the correlation between LSU basketball and LSU baseball?

Will Wade signed an amended contract with LSU in 2019 that included a firing clause.

The amendment specified that LSU could fire Wade if he committed Level I or Level II NCAA violations or if he was indicted in any state or federal criminal proceeding.

Under these terms, Wade agreed to waive all claims of wrongful termination if fired for cause.

This amendment was part of the conditions for his reinstatement as head coach after being suspended during an investigation into potential recruiting violations, according to The Advocate. Wade was fired by LSU in March 2022 after receiving a notice of allegations from the NCAA detailing serious misconduct.

Will Wade's wounds while at LSU were self-inflicted. He was fired for cause, and no buyout was paid.

Refute those facts

And nothing new came out. He could sue and would win if he chose to but I doubt he’d do that. He loves LSU.

Will Wade had moved on and is in a much better place. He set records at McNeese St, rebuilt his coaching profile, and is making huge money at a school better suited for basketball success.

Meanwhile LSU’s program is a dumpster fire with no relief in sight.
