I am 63. I don’t think that we will hear about Mulkey, Kelly or Johnson cheating. I guess that Wade was just a victim because he was cocky or the blue bloods didn’t want him joining their club. Give me a break.

Literally every major P5 coach in football and basketball paid players before NIL, if you don’t believe that you are extremely naive and uninformed. It gives you ZERO credibility on this subject.

There are so many anti-Wade posters on this site, yet now that Wade is gone, the PMAC is half empty. It’s very odd to me. It’s almost as if the anti-Wade posters don’t actually attend the games or support the program in real life.

I remember when everyone on this board were calling out Auburn when they won the national championship with Cam Newton. His dad was given $50,000 for improvements on his church. That was terrible and they should have been stripped of their national championship but Wade cheating is OK,

Go to Jordan-Hare and tell me if they took down the SEC and Natty banners from that year. And see if they took away that Heisman. And if those are still there, surely Auburn was just playing hardball, so go check the NCAA history books and let me know what they have for 2010.

I consider that Auburn team as frauds. They cheated and everyone knows it. The USC team that gave Reggie Bush’s mim a house is also a fraud. I would rather lose than win by cheating. Y’all can say all of the “get off my lawn” joked hhat you want. Don’t want any part of a coach that has to cheat to win.

I was not in that number (but I want to be in that number when the saints go marching in, but that is irrelevant to the thread). Anyway, everyone knew Auburn cheated but I also knew that we have cheated in football and basketball for decades as well. WW had a militia out to get him from the get go and it was ridiculous that a blind eye was turned towards others.

I totally agree. Shame on Wade for being really bad at cheating. Woodward did the right thing by firing him. McMahon will turn things around. He inherited NOBODY!

I love coach Wade, he made LSU basketball fun again, but he got caught cheating. It's as simple as that, you get caught you bring the program problems they don't need. We know everyone does it, they just don't get caught doing it, and he got away with it for awhile himself.
He just had the bad luck of being on the phone with someone the Ncaa was investigating. Smh

But here’s the dumb part of your argument: yes he inherited no one but he did a helluva job of bringing quality guys in. The fact that he can’t get them to at least play competitively is very concerning.
