Explain how just winning fixes 3 pt defense?

Did Mo. hit a lot of three pointers?
Did they win?
Wade has a coaching philosophy that works for the Tigers.
Enjoy the winning.

the negatigers on basketball are quite insufferable. We should be dancing in the streets with our basketball success. Everyone is just and irrationally spoiled stupid from football season.

You gonna put Auburn loss on Wade? Lol..... You really do hate all LSU coaches don’t you?

The Aurburn loss was on Wade and I think he is a great coach but that one is on his shoulders.

1) WW is a cheater.

2) He sure wasn't winning last week as he choked away another double digit lead.

These two things can impact recruiting and a coach’s desire to stay or move on. That is why, long term, I am concerned.

Wade is winning. No one denies that. But the question is to what heights does he want to take this program? I know everyone has this notion that it takes years to "build a program". But the reality is in college basketball you can make a complete turnaround very quickly (ask Chris Beard at Texas Tech). Wade has a roster capable of doing that RIGHT NOW. He has an offense that is national championship caliber RIGHT NOW. But he has a defense approaching SWAC level bad. Any opponent can get hot for one game. But when you are consistently terrible on one side of the ball...for an entire season...clearly there is a big problem with the approach the coaching staff is taking.

Could this team get red hot and make a run to and through the NCAAT? Sure. But years of statistical data says their inability to defend will prevent them from reaching the ultimate heights.

NO reasonable LSU fan wants Wade fired. In fact, I be thrilled if he signed a multi-year extension tomorrow. But it does feel like I'm watching a Les Miles type scenario. A guy who can put out really good teams. But teams with a CLEAR, consistent flaw (defense). LSU didn't lose to MSU last year because Wade wasn't on the sideline. They lost because a good, well coached team, eviscerated their weak defense.

You LOVE that they continue to find ways to win. But you also look and think "what heights could this team reach if they just played even marginally better defense?" I'll tell you, a legitimate national champion contender. Not in 2, 3, 4 years from now. But TODAY!

Some nights teams are just off. This team battled last night and came out on top. The first half was frustrating to watch but the team never quit. The largest deficit was 13 and we win by 4. The sign of a good team, not great yet.

LSU fans will never go to bball games. Only if Kentucky comes in will it be close to full. Wade gonna be gone because of it. Weakest student section for a winning team I've ever seen.

it wouldn’t be so excruciating to watch this team eek out wins against teams they should dominant and not blow leads against an AU team that had beat and should have beaten.

Did you just recently start watching LSU basketball, maybe the last two years.
You should find some games coached by Johnson and Jones. Maybe you would learn to appreciate one or two point victories.
Just win baby!
