Depending on section they start as low as $100 for the entire season. Good mid level tickets go for around $400 a piece, but you can get decent tickets for half of that.

Doubt that. It was being held in the student union during lunch time. If they wanted students present, it was a smart and calculated move on their part to have it at the union during prime lunch hours. Someone knew what they were doing.
It was a good presser and I have confidence in him, I just hope the current guys buy in as well. Want to see how his coaching assistants fill out. The remark he made when someone asked about his staff and he replied, "you should see my cellphone right now."
The high energy vs. low energy was spot on and the way he corrected the "dream job" question was good. He recognized the resources and opportunity at his disposal, wanting to recruit from the inside out (Louisiana first, then to local major markets like Houston and hopefully, DFW). I'm friends with Tasmin Mitchell on FB and read his comment that was co-signed by Stromile about wanting commitment to in-state recruiting. Tasmin stated that the reason the Final Four run from 11 years ago was so special to him, it was filled with homegrown talent (Tasmin, Big Baby, Darnell, Darrel, Garrett, and Tyrus) that wanted the success not just for themselves, but for their state as well. Gotta love that and hope others can adopt that mindset.

yeah, when I first interpreted his response to the "dream job" I got a little unsettled that he'll just rebuild and leave. then when he said he thinks we can be Florida, I concluded he's probably staying here as long as a blue blood or dare I say NBA comes calling

Sounds like he has zero tolerance for BS. I would expect the roster to look very different next year.
