No need to rehash the reasons behind the silliness but it had nothing to do with MM. Those of us who’d seen him before and knew where he came from understood he had to thread the needle so to speak and he just wasn’t able to do it.

You may remember, chris jackson’s mother forbid him to sign either LSU. But sign he did and he was just old enough not to require a parents signature.

That, and he just never seemed to have any real feel for the game flow. Whatever the game plan was at the beginning is what it remained throughout the game, regardless of how the game was going. He rarely tried to change the pace of a game or throw something different at an opponent,
Good point Alt as per usual. What I noticed was in most years he was here - he would start out well - maybe beat a team that we didn't expect or play one of the few good teams on his OOC close and would look really good doing it - giving some hope.
Then when teams got film and adjusted we rarely had an effective counter adjustment and again, with the exception of that short 2-3 week run year two it went downhill fast after that.

It blows my mind fans are still posting about MM.Enjoy WW and the new TIGERS.!!!!
Hard to do when there's negativity surrounding WW. Some have to find reasons to justify their emotions when there's parents of recruits that are displeased. First, they shite on the source. Now, when there appears to be a reliable source close to the situation, they have to go back to the past and shite on a previous coach to change the narrative.
Why is anyone surprised WW is doing this? He's an elite recruiter. He's going to get a lot of those players and parents to buy into his sales pitch. Not everyone knows recruiting tactics as well as Rafer, he lived it. Just a different dynamic that potentially backfired on him. Maybe it doesn't.
Can't wait for the season to start!

That was actually a post complementing Wade. You got in your feelings so fast, you didn't even read it. Congrats

I’m starting to wonder if this is a smokescreen to build hype for the kid’s commitment. It’s all an extremely strange story to be mad about Wade talking to the mom and the kid directly
Assuming that was his dad next to him throwing up the Ls I was correct

It blows my mind that their are people that legit think McMahon is a good coach
We hired him at the absolute worst time. He was a program guy that thrived on 4- and 5-year guys running the system in their sleep. LSU hired him when the transfer portal and NIL were turning college sports on their face. Program coaches just aren't the answer in the NIL era.

Lets go. Hit pieces can’t keep him down.

Well, he just committed to LSU. Now what?
