Does he stick it our 2 more years?

Who knows he may coach another 10 years

If LSU hands him another loss this year with his Heisman winning QB leaving for the NFL...who knows what he's thinking

Yeah but that's for recruiting. He'll abruptly retire in the next couple of years.

He's not going to live to 2030 if he keeps coaching football. The explosions he has on the sidelines are not healthy for 70 year old man to be having. He will stroke out and die.

I think he’s lost his mind by defending Burton

I hope so. I would love to see him in the stadium next year when the 2003 National Championship team is recognized.

They'll have to haul him away in an ambulance. He's not going anywhere voluntarily.

with expansion I don't think LSU will play Bama every year anymore
Bama will have Tenn and Auburn as permanents
LSU will have A&M and likely Ole Miss

The idea that we won’t play Bama every year is unthinkable to me. But you may be right.

Stop saying this BS. LSU should be playing A&M as little as possible, and everyone LSU including our fans should make sure everyone knows that how we see it.

Absolutely agree . Bama does not look like the Bama teams of old . Maybe Saban is getting tired ?!

I remember thinking this before the 2005 Dolphins vs. Saints.

A good a$$ whipping in a couple of weeks may speed up his decision making.

Listen, I want him gone as much as the next guy, but he has one loss to Tennessee on the road and his team seems rattled and everyone suddenly thinks he's going to take his ball and go home? Doubtful, just wishful thinking on everyone's part. The media wants nothing more than to report Saban is leaving Tuscaloosa.

Now maybe the NIL stuff is wearing him down, maybe. But now that the formula has been laid out by TAMU, everyone knows it and should mirror the recruiting process. So time will tell is that's his undoing, but going through hard times isn't going to run him off.

I think NIL will make Saban lose interest. He pretends to be on board with it for recruiting, but you know he is old school and hates the distractions. He has become a master recruiter which is what he owes his success to. But NIL is an equalizer in recruiting, as we saw 5 star players tripping all over themselves to get paid to play for a bad texag program.

The fact that he played Burton, the university needs to make last week his last game. Does anyone here think Boutte would have played last week if the situation was different?

Chris Dorring said on SEC show last year that the nil and transfer stuff was wearing on him. Said he heard from a reliable source he was leaving last year if he would have won NC. Take it for what’s it’s worth but may be coming sooner than later. Dorring doesn’t seem like the guy to throw out stuff like that to make himself sound in the know.
