He’s going to be more like SL his first season.

Either one will likely be adequate for this team to make the playoff

Let me get my crystal ball and get back with you.

He'll be better than Chambliss in Kiffin's offense
It would be hard to imagine anyone being better at scrambling than JD in either year.
JD year 1 was not good at passing.
JD year 2 was slightly better. Having Mailk and BTJ coming into their own helped JD when he finally trusted those guys to make the 50/50 catch.

For $5 million he better be elite

I think it will be more like JD's first season, but I hope I am very mistaken.
I don't have a lot of confidence in Leavitt at this point. We have a QB that is a bettrer runner than passer and he has potentially a weak ankle that could make him less effective. He has a lot to prove with his decision making and throwing ability. There will come many times where he is going to have to thread the needle on a 3rd and 7 in a tight window. I'm not convinced yet he has that ability. My hope is more in Kiffin working magic with him than in the abilities that Leavitt has demonstrated to date.

Remy lol
This dude said Jayden was slightly better at passing in year 2.
That’s why LSU fans are clueless.
The dude was elite at throwing the football year 2. He won heisman on a bad football bc he was so elite at passing. And yes his running was elite as well

JD had PTSD his first yr for all the picks he threw the yr before at ASU. It took him a whole season to trust the receivers and himself to let it fly.
I still love the quote from JD in his second yr about halfway through the season while being interviewed about his passing improvement. He said Malik chewed him out in the first game of the season. Malik told him "if it looks like I am not open I am open! Throw the ball!"

This is what I was referring to in his second year. Just get Malik the ball

I honestly expect him to be league avg sec qb. I am not a believer in his accuracy. Hopefully the running game and defense are top notch. I dont think we win games if it comes down to relying on his arm.

It’s one think to have a bad take, but this is just stupidity

He might have thrown a few good deep balls, almost every deep pass was underthrown and our receivers made those adjustments.
He would hit Nabers on a 8 yard stop route, Malik would break 3 tackles and take it 40 yards. In the books that's a 48 yard pass. In the short passing game he was very good.
Let's not act like he was calling out defenses and picking apart secondaries with precision.

Skill wise I’d comp him to Jaxon Dart. Dart’s last season at OM he threw for 4k+ yards 29 TDs and 6 Ints. He also ran for 500 and 3 TDs

If JD means “Jaxson Dart” in his 3rd year then you may be closer. And that would be just fine since he was the SEC’s leading passer that year.
NO ONE, I don’t care how mobile, compares to Daniels as a runner.
