Hopeful that he does and that LSU celebrates Les in some fashion next season for 20th anniversary.

He is also directly responsible for LSU losing the 2011 natty, so that is a net gain of zero national championships on his part.

I partially blame ESPN's hardon for the whole rematch bit for that.

It’s still unreal how his image has shifted within the hearts and minds of our fanbase in such a short period.
Nobody should have been surprised. Nobody stopped appreciating what he did here.

I think it’s more that it’s easier to hate him when he’s beating us every year, but now we don’t have to worry about that.

It wasn't ever really hate because even when he was beating us nearly every year most of us would have gladly taken him back with arms wide open if given the chance. But now that he's not coaching a rival anymore it does feel different. Like how my parents finally started getting along nearly 20 years after their divorce.

Just saw that the 2001 SEC championship team was honored on field this past weekend, obviously without coach.

Kind of bullshite for LSU not to do that the week before. You know, when he was fricking here.

I don't think he does that as long as he's on Bama's payroll.
