I think it would be kind of fun.

I realize they are a low 1-aa but it would be more entertaining to me than most any other 1-aa school we could or would play.

Serious problems would ensue in Baton Rouge when LSU beat the Jags by a score of 76-0.

Southern would claim victory by virtue of their band since that is all they care about

I believe AU, State, and USCe have played the HBCs in recent years.

I'm not quite sure how it would benefit either school unless SU would get some money out of it.

ETA: Seeing their band at halftime would be pretty cool though.

Meh. They play at a couple of Saints games a year, too.

We aren't obligated to play Southern, Southeastern,Tulane, Tech, Mcneese St, Northwestern St., ULL, ULM etc...Although they feel otherwise.. It is ridiculous and a waste of a game

Miss State and Southern Miss have recently played Jackson State and Alcorn.

It would be nice to see LSU play Southern or Grambling. Keep the money in state and it can be a uinique experience

I think we will. HOnestly we are playing much smaller Louisiana schools, for the expressed reason of keeping some of the cupcake money in state.
