We have all the pieces. Our D line should be stacked and possibly the O line as well. We should be better and deeper in the trenches the next two years.

I would say NO. I think we'll fall to 8-4 in 2018 and then back to 9-3 in 2019.

Do we lose to A&M next year or in 2019?

Let’s start small and beat Bama once in the next decade. I honesty don’t see Orgeron bringing LSU to the playoffs.

With good QB it is possible. All the games this year were winnable with a better QB.

Really so gundy is a joke ? Richt? Shaw ? Chip Kelly ? How many years was Saban a HC before he won ? O was a young coach at a dumpster fire in ole miss and imo Lsu was his first chance to prove he could be a HC. Experience, age, the right fit, learning under a great coach n Pete Carroll are reasons why now is better suited to give O a shot now. And 10-3 is solid if he wins the bowl. Not easy following a legend for anyone espn n the west. Next year is brutal and if he can go 10-3 again that’s pretty good. So year 3 with a few recruiting classes n the books and these young qbs more experienced and a fair home Sec schedule he should contend for a west crown. If he falls a little short it doesn’t mean he’s a joke. But if he pulls a Sumlin then maybe it’s time to move on.

O has spent exactly ZERO days on Pete Carroll’s staff post Ole Miss fiasco.
2004 was the last time he was on same staff as Pete.

Dude, he learned under Pete Carroll BEFORE he was HC at Ole Miss

That’s not a new characteristic.
