If things continue like they are in a downward trajectory, likely.

We have to go to phase 3 if we want fans in the stands for LSU games.

Exactly. JBE will likely lose his political will as kickoff to Tiger fiotball nears.

I suspect he will keep things locked down as long as he can until then.

No way with the outbreaks at the school, numbers still over a thousand new cases a day, % positive over 5% which is requirements, and colleges about to begin and all the outbreaks there.

No shot, we will stay on phase II till the middle of September at the earliest. With so many school opening after Labor Day he won’t risk a holiday weekend spike.

I thought I recalled them saying high school football was off until stage 4. That's the only time I've heard stage 4 ever mentioned though.

The trend is our friend. But we must get those trends/totals much lower than we did back in early June. We need to be vigilant so we don't go backwards.

I heard JBE say LSU could have up to 50% in TS if we played tomorrow.

MS is already playing High School football

Return of football Aug 14, 2020
The Starkville Academy Volunteers and the Winston Academy Patriots renewed their longstanding football rivalry with a preseason jamboree in Louisville on Friday night. It was hot and muggy, the stands were packed, the grill was lit and the pads popped. It was perfect.
