You must not remember cam Cameron ?

You mean the OC during the one of the most prolific offenses in lsu history?

The oc that in 2013 had a 3,000 yard passer,2 1000 yard wrs, and a rb that was setting the sec single season ypc record?

You mean Cam Cameron the OC that in 2015 was 3rd in the sec in offensive ppg and offensive yards per game?
The offense that finished above Ohio State, bama , and fsu( when they were good) in ppg, ppp, ypg, ypp and 1st downs per game?

That cam Cameron?

There are no facts that point to ensminger being a better OC than Cam Cameron.

And when you dont have the talent advantage, your scheme becomes vastly more important.

I agree Scheme is very important

But you need it all. I think We’re doing a lot to make the talent better. Haven’t seen a scheme that’s consistent.s

No, RB shared in the offensive struggles It's shaping up like 2013. The parallels are uncanny.

I think it's possible. Burrow should be more comfortable in his 2nd season. His 2018 was actually a little better than Mett's 2012. Our WRs are exceptionally talented and Chase looks to be progressing well. If Marshall can live up to the #1 WR billing we will have a really solid WR group. I'm still waiting for Anderson to use his freak skills consistently.

Ironically I've been saying Davis reminds me a lot of Jeremy Hill in size, talent and style of running and Emery just got re-rated as the #1 RB of the 2019 class.

It really comes down to Ensminger and Cregg. If this offense doesn't take a huge leap forward these two have no where to hide.

Yeah that’s great.

Let’s just hope we come up with a better idea than running them up the gut in the red zone.

I think he's referring to a Mett type jump from year 1 to 2.

Mett 2012: 2609yds 12 TDs/7 INTs
Burrow 2018: 2894yds 16 TDs/5 INTs

Mett 2013: 3082yds 22 TDs/8 INTs
Burrow 2019: 3000+ yds 20+ TDs/less than 8 INTs

Well the negas have been hyping Cameron's offense today, and Burrow will.most likely surpass Metts 2013 season this year.

It either is or it aint.

It’s a big year for us.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a huge year mean like 3500+ yards? Or 4000 yards?

Wouldn’t it be nice to have break a passing record from 17 years ago?

A lot of things would be nice that arent necessary

Nothing is “necessary” but it makes things easier for sure.

Thats how everyone knows youre biased.
You think simply stating that Cam's offense was vastly better than Ensminger's offense is hyping it.

The only hyped offense of Cam's was 2013. We were 11th in the country in yards per play but because we were a ball controlled offense it hurt our totals.

We were 11th in the country for success when the ball was snapped but because we were 105th in plays ran, our offensive production didnt show up in totals.

I'm sorry, im not hyping an offense that some are saying isn't that good

If we match 2013 you gonna be happy?

Sure

I'd prefer a little ball control to go with efficiency, instead of video game numbers however.

If we are 9th in the country in points per play
11th in yards per play
1st in the country 3rd down conversion %
Top 20 in offensive tds per game
Top 25 in ppg

Yes ill be happy.

Im not sure we go from 2018 to the above production because of true freshman rbs.
