I know you love ESPN efficiency statistic
Look who the most efficient team in the country is
Not an old school ball control offense.
Oklahoma.
And the rest of the top 10 is also full of some
High powered offenses.
Ohio states in there, Clemson, Washington state Missouri Ole Miss.
I dont Love this statistic, Butni think it makes my point that we don’t have to choose.
I was A big defender of the pro style offense but the game has changed so much since even like 2013.
The Pro teams are taking more from college. We’re trying to be like an old NFL team.

Whats funny is you never have to admit scheme is our problem. You can always just say its talent. Just like you did this year. As if we dont have the talent to dominate Southeastern or la tech on the offensive side of the ball.

Well there's only two really successful teams there, Clemson and Bama. OU played in the B12. You my ghetto scrape together some schoolkids and be successful there

Ou also scores 30+ points on Alabama and played in a CFP.
Their defense was Swiss cheese but that’s not the offenses fault.
Also, Alabama and Clemson weren’t exactly ball control offenses either. They were pretty quick tempted until they had smothered their opponent and were running out the clock.

I love how the NFL is adopting Air Raid concepts and we think they won’t work in the fricking SEC.

Who says they will not?
Coaches generally favor ball control and strong defense in the conference though.
Were you promoting air raid 4-5 years ago when it was most popular?

Even Bama who is one of the only teams to a tualy have the defense to support a subpar offense and win a championships has adopted a spread attack.

I didnt Say either run the air raid, but by ball control you mean run the ball than lots of these spread teams fall under that category.

No we’re just not all of a sudden going to be happy about a 10-3 season after not being happy with them for a decade.

Leach throws an incredible number of times to his RBs. It wasn't an explosive offense by any means and yes, was meant to keep control of the football.
