I'm pretty sure one the people they interviewed on TV for reactions to Kelly's hiring was Evil Twin without the shtick. (He was positive about it, of course).

Evil Twins were around for Saban.
In Columbus MS early a.m. on a game day he was out walking maybe to clear his head pre game and ETs stopped him to talk and got him to take a picture with them.
Anyhow they were probably slightly less annoying as the drunk blonde who accosted him the day he arrived in Bama as the new head coach.

Well the coach’s show used to be pretty good once upon a time (a long time). I went to some of the early Saban shows at Serrano’s right there off campus and they were very good. I do not recall the Evil Twin at those shows, at least not his stupid shtick. Maybe he was there but just not doing his act.
Some where along the way they started to go south. I always liked to listen because I am a long way from BR now and I just enjoyed hearing talk and news about the program. But the Evil Twin made it unbearable for me and I haven’t listened regularly in about 6-7 years. I tuned in very occasionally during the Ed years and it was the same old crap.
CBK is a serious individual. Maybe he will put out the word to stop giving ET the exposure.

I think coaches' shows were originally designed as another income source for the head coach. As part of his contract and compensation deal the head coach would do the shows for X amount of $$ per year. Nowadays I think the booster organizations pay a lot of coaches' salaries anyway, but I'm not sure that has always been the case.

Yep, and they can use the fishing hole fiasco as the perfect excuse to do that.
The calls are all cringey anyway, from Fritzie to the old drunk baws making suggestions on game plans, to that one dude who sang to Orgeron before the Miami game in ‘18.
