I guess he misspoke in his quote… should’ve said “I don’t let anybody mess with my quarterback, unless we’re in Tuscaloosa”

dude has allowed like 2 or 3 sacks in his career here, he didn't even allow a sack on that particular play.
someone on this board just looked at our rushing stats and watched us not run the ball well at times last year and decided that they would say that will sucks at run blocking. then everyone coppied that narrative.
go back and look at the film. the guy was driving his man off the line of scrimmage and doing what was asked of him on nearly every play I went back and watched in the run game.
it's called hive mind and it's a proven concept. it's rampant on this board.

He played in the SEC and started at LSU as a freshman. Allowed a total of 5 sacks his entire career and was drafted 4th overall and highest LSU lineman ever drafted but he’s just “okay”

Eh, players today have a lot more media exposure than they did back then. When Andrew Whitworth was drafted, Facebook still required a .edu email address. Twitter had existed for less than a month. It was a different world.
I don’t know what Andrew Whitworth would have sounded like back then if he had grown up with social media, NIL, and everything else that goes into today’s culture of college/pro athletics.. nobody does.
