Y’all think we’ll continue to utilize CEH in that formation? I liked it around the goaline and if it worked against that Auburn front I’m sure we can get him in space and use it to our advantage

Worked on goaline but otherwise looked discombobulated and false starty.

Honestly it was rolled out in 1 yard to go situations and we should be able to get that more times than not with a reliable qb under center handing off to a running back

I think showing it on the regular, even only once or twice a game, will have a positive effect. It means it’s one more thing opposing teams have to plan/prepare, taking away from planning for Burrow and the passing game.

Yeah, I like the play - although I would just as soon replace Burrow with another receiver or back. But CEH just sits back there and surveys what will be the best hole to attack. Nothing predetermined, his move is based on defensive alignment.

It needs polish, as it didn’t work so well after the first time. Also, they need to mix up when they use it a bit, or defenses will figure it out quickly.

When I first heard about the package being installed, I initially thought D.Dillon should run it. Simply because he was a high school Qb and the kid is explosive asf!

I like it. It gives the opposition something else to prepare for. It definitely needs to be cleaned up though.

Didn’t we only try it twice? And a false start at Jordan hare on an important third down with the crowd rocking will happen.

I never like the wildcat. Just like having rising QBs, I think you lose rhythm

CEH runs hard. Can’t wait to see him break a long run

If you want to lose 5 yards, run the wildcat is what I got out of it.

My concern is that everyone and his brother will know he is going to run. After the first time, the box was stacked and I think the penalty saved a negative play. It would be different if there was the threat of him throwing the ball.

I hope Narcisse sees it because it was put in for him. It never bothered me about Mcmillan because his window was closing, but we stayed with Narcisse through the injuries and rehab. I had hoped he would use the wildcat as a stepping stone experience as Tebow did. Does he count against the twenty five if he returns.

4th down and i was happy we got a false start. We may have just been hoping to draw an offsides anyway.

CLyde is the best guy for the wildcat.
He's a little bowling ball, and it's difficult for the LB's and safety's to see him in the backfield b/c he's so short.

He’s also very shifty and can bounce around in the hole or backfield to find a hole. He’s great for the wildcat.

It was definitely the false startiest of our formations
