Why won’t Toonces die?

Tired of seeing Toonces continue to be used by media sources and even recruits announcing commitments. Anyone know why a simple Google search for “LSU logo” continues to return a flood of Toonces before the official Tiger head shows up and how to flip the results? I’m tired of seeing that awful thing being used.

Unfortunately LSU took a big leap into being a regular title contender about the same time Toonces was released and the fan base grew by a lot.

Tell Scott Creamer to update that graphic. The Eye is not out secondary logo at this points. It’s the cleaned up meatball tiger head

Supposedly it’s easier and more consistent to get it on merchandise than the OG. The old one looks so much better. It was hand painted. The new one is too clean. It looks like a computer shite it out. Which it did.
FSU did the same thing the year before. Their new Seminole is far inferior to the old logo. Ours thank god is a little less noticeable. But I still buy all the old gear I can because it just looks better than the new gear.

Wish we'd put that tiger head back on our helmet logos again. The detail was terrific! If I recall correctly, it came from a rendered photo of Mike III.

I’d be happy with any of the top 4 from the primary logos. I really prefer no. 1

I agree it doesn’t look as good as the old Chrysanthemum Tiger but to me it’s still preferable to the Eye logo and it’s far better than Toonces.

I like the eye logo. It’s unique. Looks cool.

I do like the eye, but it isn’t my favorite on shirts or hats. Probably because of the asymmetry.

The first one is tgoat all time. I like the eye for a secondary logo.
