Are double header games still 2 9 inning games?

Pretty sure the lesser innings only applies to a game delayed on a Sunday. After a certain start time etc

Starting in the am would alleviate risk

What risk?

The rain will end in the very early morning hours, and rain chances are 0% from then through Sunday evening, according to the current forecast

Ncaa rule 37.6A subsection 4 rev 2.67. See the 2019 ruling regarding double headers as it relates to this and specifically SEC ruling to adopt said NCAA 37.6A subsection 4 rev 2.67 upheld by SEC bylaws adopted july 2019. Keep researching online and you’ll find it

ayers will be rested and beginning at 11am gives you more time to accomplish all 3 games

the weather is supposed to be damn near perfect all afternoon/evening.

2pm-5:30 ish for game 1.
Game 2 start around 7:00 - 7:30 or so.

those start times allow you to maximize the number of people that will attend.

I'm sure the reason is because the game was starting at 2 tomorrow

This is the reason and for anyone that has organized anything more complex than a weekend masturbation session the reasoning is obvious. Logistically coaches, organizers, and officials, are only having to account for the changes needed to facilitate game 2 seeing who can stay and work a second game for concessions, gateguards, etc. Whereas a change to an earlier time would require a complete overall of even worker schedules and everything else involved.

The weather will be gorgeous in College Station today. 2pm start time gets more people on campus and in seats.

A 2 o'clock start time gives the field a few more hours to dry also. I think everything is fine. Just enjoy our boys beating up on the aggies.

It gives the Aggie players more time to snuggle with each other before getting out of bed.
