LSU has not had an offensive advantage that was due to scheme in literally decades. All of our offensive success in the last 20+ years was literally just due to exemplary players carrying the team in spite of the scheme they played in.

Lane would bring genuine proven schematic advantage. Put that together with our recruiting power and you suddenly have a consistent annual offensive juggernaut.

Well, he had failed runs with the Raiders, Tennessee, and USC, was accused of “self-report” style NCAA violations at Tennessee, had the off-field “Joe Freshwater” drama attributed to him, was fired mid-season at Oakland, USC, and Alabama…is that enough? Should I keep going?

Ole Miss will drop 1 or 2 more.
To who? Their remaining games are 3 home games vs South Carolina, Florida, and The Citadel. Then the Egg Bowl vs Miss State in Starkville.

Miss State has been playing hard against good teams, so that's probably the toughest game left on Ole Miss' schedule.

They'll miss the playoff with a second loss.
Doubtful. There's not going to be that many P4 teams that finish with only 2 losses or less and a 2 loss SEC team is 100% getting the playoff spot over a 2 loss team from the Big 12 or ACC

What did Nick Saban win when we brought him here? Kiffen has been very successful as a Coordinator at multiple schools in and even been part of a Championship at Alabama, is an Offensive Guru, and has put Ole Miss on the map as a contender. You’d have to be insane not to consider him.

Alabama won a National Championship with him under Saban as the OC.

Kiffin had as much to do with that NC as the hotdog vendor at BDS.

Wasn't Kiffin fired before the NC game?

Lane Kiffin must one of those guys that many TD posters would like to be. I am not a fan and would not support him as LSU’s coach. I am not alone in this. He would a short lease before the Fire Kiffin chants started.

He already has better offensive players right now. Ole Miss ain't hurting for the money currently and if Kiffin somehow makes the playoff......and wins a game, he's untouchable for another 2 years

If you “ doesn’t see it” either you haven’t looked or you don’t know what you’re looking at.
He’s a really good coach.

Offense bro, offense. We need a baller at qb each year. He does that.

He can bring his dc(Golden) and young oc too.
