Muschamp listed several reasons for the Gators' dominance -- the halftime adjustments made by offensive coordinator Brent Pease, the improved physicality of his players and, after second-half comebacks at Texas A&M and Tennessee, the simple belief in themselves.

"ever"????

What is Miles' overall record at LSU...something like 79-19?! I guess he achieved that by dumb luck...
The ignorance of some people is amazing.

I agree we don't adjust well but it's because we need a OC for that.

You don't think Chavis had anything to do with winning some of those games?

Halftime adjustments were my favorite thing about having Saban. Current style is to run exactly what they think we'll run every play.

Wait, I thought we did adjust. I've seen several posts on here saying we did. We just haven't been executing, that's all.

What should they adjust to?

Throwing 40 times so we can have 35 drops.

We run the ball because our receivers suck.
We don't have a receiver on staff that would start for any other top 10 team.

Who recruits and develops receivers?

Besides, that's a copout. I would rather see LSU throw the ball every play then what they are doing now. Maybe we would score a couple touchdowns in one game versus an SEC opponent.

Florida has done a good job of making adjustments in several of their games this year.

Agreed. That guy Pease has impressed me with his calls. Coming from Boise or not.

Pease is good.

But the funny thing about this thread is that his adjustments produced results that LSU has equaled or surpassed several times over the last couple years....yet we never "adjust".

Yeah, the T&M game was similar in that UF didn't do much in the first half, but dominated the second.

Right
Pease took the ball away from driskell,
UF got the lead and ran it 25 straight times

Great adjustment

Like we have never seen LSU do they before

I just don't get why we aren't going to more dump offs and quick routes if the line is so bad.

CLM have lost his edge since his surgery. Nothing against the man, he can still recruit with the best of them and is a GREAT reprenstive of LSU football program. But I think when they cut out his brain lesion/possible tumor they cut out something else. His X and O skills are still there we DID go undefeated last year, adaptability however is something we have not seen from him in a while.

When he was at OK st, the man would do crazy arse shite to win if we could have half the offense he had then we would be unstoppable.
