Did you watch them under Sumlin? There is no reason LSU can't beat A&M, but they are a better coached team than they have been, and I'm not sure how anyone could disagree. Sumlin should be paying JFF a percentage of all career earnings. He;d be a nobody without him.

Who cares what some dumb computer says.

Their only wins this year are ULM and Northwestern State.

1. rankings don't mean much, especially this early.
2. A&M's two losses were a nailbiter against Clemson and to Bama on the road, where they hung tight for about a half.

A&M is good, and Jimbo has them playing quite well.

yes I watched them under Sumlin, other than a few subtleties and making Mond better, they are a Sumlin team with a jimbo philosophy.

I’ve never seen a group of fans get hard ons over some shitty arse results like A&M thus far while pooping on ours.

Amazing world we are living in.

As usual, not one actual factual piece of information in the thread, and we're already on page three.

I'll say that through 4 games, they look much better coached than at any point during sumlin's tenure.

well duh. jordan rogers confirmed practices were light years better under jimbeaux than under sumlin. jake coker says jimbo does pre game week prep just like saban.

Who is getting hard? OP made a thread asking why, and people are giving answers.

Same reason people were picking Mississippi State to beat us before Saturday. They just don’t trust LSU to win these games I guess

while some of you consider the 4-0 stat to be the only relevant stat, actual statistics, like passer rating, 3rd down conversion %, redzone effeciency, rushing offense, and the defensive ratings of those stats, play a large part in predicting winners.
Doesn't mean they are right all the time, but over time, they tend to be correct more than they are wrong.

You don't get the love for a national championship winning coach who has developed several high pick quarterbacks at a school with basically unlimited resources?

You’d probably understand it better if you didn’t see everything in extremes and put things in context. There is reason for A&M to feel good about the direction of their program. Anyone just saying they are 2-2 is either missing the point or being willfully ignorant or is simply an A&M hater.

LSU at 4-0 is better than anyone thought, criticism of the offense or aspects of the team in the scrub games is LSU fans with concerns going forward. Where teams rank after 4 games really isn’t that important. The game at A&M is not gonna be easy. The results of past games and week 4 rankings will have no impact.
